THE SECRET LIES IN NATURE

AVINENT conducted an ambitious research process to develop its BIOMIMETIC ADVANCED SURFACE (BAS), a revolutionary surface inspired by the biochemical processes occurring in nature. By incorporating calcium and phosphorus, elements that are found in our body, a surface was created that accelerates bone-implant interaction.


SHAPE OF THE IMPLANT:

  • Shape adapted to the biological structure of the bone.
  • Platform switching with a polished coronal surface aiding the adaptation of soft tissues and ensuring excellent aesthetic results.
  • Micro-threaded neck, improving bone-implant contact and the distribution of stresses in the cortical zone.
  • Double progressive and asymmetric thread which enables the implant to adapt perfectly to the various areas of the bone, thereby guaranteeing its penetration capacity in the apical zone and compacting capability in the area of the body of the implant.
  • Apical end with radical tip that guides the entry and advance of the implant during insertion and which reduces the trauma to the anatomical peri-implant structures at the apical level.
  • BIOMIMETIC ADVANCED SURFACE which increases the bone-implant contact (BIC) percentage and speeds up osseointegration.
  • Available with three prosthetic connections: internal (IC), external (EC) and conical (CC) connection.

BIOMIMETIC PROPERTIES THAT PROMOTE OSSEOINTEGRATION:

  1. Optimum structural roughness - The surface treatment that provides macroroughness and microporosity, with the addition of calcium and phosphorus, gives the surface fully biomimetic properties.
  2. Hydrophillicity - The results obtained in determining the water/surface contact angle have demonstrated clear hydrophilic behavior of the implant surface. This characteristic results in better integration between the implant and the biological environment, which promotes osseointegration.
  3. Bone cell generation induced - Scientific studies and clinical evidence have confirmed the success of BIOMIMETIC surface treatment. The surface topography of the implant facilitates bone cell migration and osteogenesis.

Surgical Phase

SURGICAL PROTOCOLS

The AVINENT range of implants includes a large variety of titanium and PEEK healing abutments for the surgical phase that aid in the guided healing of soft tissues.
There are three types of healing abutments to choose from depending on the connection: standard, anatomical and aesthetic.
AVINENT’s healing abutments are designed to respect the soft tissues as much as possible and create optimal emergency profiles depending on the type of final prosthesis.


SURGICAL KITS

AVINENT provides surgeons with high precision instruments that have a common design for internal, external and conical connections.  AVINENT’s two surgical kits help you to choose the implant system that best suits clinical needs; Ocean or Coral.

  • New features of CC system - The conical connection healing abutments of the OCEAN range have been anodized with the corresponding color of the platform in order to facilitate the work of the dental clinic. AVINENT also designs its conical connection abutments by differentiating between multiple or single unit cases. This characteristic is essential in order to create optimal emergency profiles depending on the final restoration.
  • Surgical kit: Outstanding for its very simple clear layout and attractive design. The drilling sequence is clearly indicated by a simple color code according to the diameter of the selected implant. All the pieces are positioned in a sterilizable tray, with a transparent cover that provides great visibility of the interior.
  • Small format kit: Smaller and more versatile, it helps you to select a specific sequence and carry it out in a reduced space with everything required for the surgical process. The kit is sterilizable and can also be equipped with the necessary material for prosthesis placement.
